Payment may be made by (cash, check, card, PayPal, or Square) and checks shall be made out to Sweets’ Treats Bakeshop, LLC.  Bounced checks are subject to a $50 fee, plus reimbursement for the check amount.  There is a credit card transaction fee of 2.9%+$0.30.

We deliver to Anne Arundel County, Carroll County, Frederick County, Howard County, Prince George’s County, and Baltimore, Maryland.  We do charge a delivery fee based on mileage distance, plus any applicable placement fee.  Local delivery (up to 20 miles) is $29 plus any applicable fee, Up to 50 miles is $72 plus any applicable placement fee, and up to 80 miles is $116 plus any applicable placement fee.

Yes.  For custom orders, the following menu items have minimums:

• Cupcakes: Half-Dozen (6)
• Cake Pops:  Half-Dozen (6)
• Pastries:
  • Kolache: Nine (9)
  • Monkey Bread: Half-Dozen (6) 
  • Sweet Rolls: Half-Dozen (6)
  • Scones: Four (4)
  • Cookies: Dozen (12) of all cookie varieties, unless otherwise specified.

• Whoopie Pies: Half-dozen (6)

We recommend taking your cake out of the refrigerator about 2 hours before you plan on serving it. This will allow the buttercream to soften up and it will be much easier to cut. 

• Cakes: About 3-4 days in refrigerator, wrapped tightly
• Cupcakes: About 2-3 days in refrigerator in an airtight container
• Cake Pops : 1 week in refrigerator, wrapped tightly
• Cookies:  About 2-3 days at room temperature in an airtight container.  To maintain softness, a slice of bread can be added to the container.
• Brownies: About 1-2 days at room temperature in an airtight container
• Whoopie Pies:  About 2-3 days in refrigerator in an airtight container
• Pastries:
  • Kolache:  About 2-3 days at room temperature in an airtight container
  • Monkey Bread:  1 week in refrigerator, wrapped tightly
  • Scones:  About 1-2 days at room temperature in an airtight container. 1 week in refrigerator in an airtight container.

As the client, you have the right to cancel an order at any time.  Please understand that when we book an order, we decline other orders.  For this reason we have a cancellation/no show policy that we must enforce for all orders.  If you cancel the order at least 2 weeks before the order due date, you will be within the grace period and your retainer will be refunded in full.  If you cancel your order less than 2 weeks from the order due date, your retainer and any other monies paid towards the order will be forfeited in full.  

If your order is scheduled for Pick-Up, any pick-up later than 30 minutes is subject to a $1 late fee per minute until the order is picked up. Late fee is due upon pick up before the order is handed over. If the order is not picked up within 6 hours of the original pick-up time and other arrangements have not been made, we will dispose of or donate the order and no refund will be issued.  If you order is scheduled for Delivery, we will wait up to 30minutes. After that time, an additional $100 no-show fee will apply. The order may be picked up from 9178 Rolling Meadow Run, Pasadena, Maryland 21122 at an agreed upon time, and will be handed over after the $100 no-show fee has been paid. 

If an order is desired to be rescheduled or postponed, we require a 2 week notice. If the new date is available, the order will be moved and secured. If the new date is not available, the order will be canceled and any retainer returned in full.  If notification occurs less than 2 weeks before the order due date, and the new date is available, the order will be moved and any monies, lost profit, and extra fees, as applicable, will be paid the same day to re-secure the date. If the new date is not available, the order will be canceled and any retainer or other monies paid towards the order will be forfeited in full.  Quotes will be honored for up to 1 year. If the order is postponed past one year, a new quote will be delivered 3 months prior to the event and any fees owed will be due at that time.

You may bring two guests with you. Color fabric swatches, ribbon for the cake, event invitations, cake images, lists of ideas, patterns, or other inspiration pieces. If you already have your venue booked, it is useful to bring the address of the reception and the names and phone numbers of anyone we may need to coordinate with, like an event planner or florist.  Tastings may only be requested for orders quoted over $200. The tasting fee is $25 per group (maximum of 3 people per group).  We will provide up to 3 flavors of cake/cupcake, 3 flavors of filling and 3 flavors of icing, for a tasting event.
